Synopsis:
Seventeen-year-old Bianca Piper is cynical and loyal, and she doesn’t think she’s the prettiest of her friends by a long shot. She’s also way too smart to fall for the charms of man-slut and slimy school hottie Wesley Rush. In fact, Bianca hates him. And when he nicknames her “the Duff,” she throws her Coke in his face.

But things aren’t so great at home right now, and Bianca is desperate for a distraction. She ends up kissing Wesley. Worse, she likes it. Eager for escape, Bianca throws herself into a closeted enemies-with-benefits relationship with him.
Until it all goes horribly awry. It turns out Wesley isn’t such a bad listener, and his life is pretty screwed up, too. Suddenly Bianca realizes with absolute horror that she’s falling for the guy she thought she hated more than anyone.?
Thoughts:
I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. I can't even begin to give a proper review because I loved it so much. For me, everything in the book was perfect, the plot, characters, meaning. The characters have so many flaws but that's what made them so beyond perfect. They make mistakes, the screw up, but don't we all? Kody was pretty blunt about it.

I fell in love with the writing. It was so fun and funny. Ugh, I can't even begin to describe my love for all of the characters. My favorite was Wesley Rush. Wesley is a total and complete man-whore (one of my biggest turn offs), but he became one of my biggest fictional crushes to date. He's so sexy and hilarious and sweet and romantic. Yes, he is a man-whore, but he still treats girls with respect, you know? I want him. I want to date him. I miss him. My heart is yearning for him. It's ridiculous really.

Bianca was just a real character. I loved how Kody captured how teenagers (and not even teenagers) run away from their problems using certain coping mechanisms.  I love how she didn't sugar coat the sex or the swearing. YES! there is sex and swearing in this book so if you read it, proceed at your own risk. Don't rate it lower because I forewarned you. Besides, the sex in this book was so damn sexy, fer real.

Overall, JUST GO READ IT! seriously. It's so phenomenal. I'm adding it to my top favorites list.
Favorite Quotes:
"Wesley Rush doesn’t chase girls, but I’m chasing you"
“Bianca, whore is just a cheap word people use to cut each other down," he said. His voice softer. "It makes them feel better about their own mistakes. Using words like that is easier than really looking into the situation. I promise you, you're not a whore."
“Thanks,” Toby said “And if Wesley breaks your heart, I promise to . . . well, I would say I’d kick his ass, but we both know that’s physically impossible.” He frowned down at his skinny arms. “So I’ll write him a strongly worded letter.”
“Spanish, huh?" he said, glancing down at the scattered papers as he grabbed them. "Can you say anything interesting?""El tono de tu voz hace que queria estrangularme." I stood up and waited for him to hand over my papers."That sounds sexy," he said, getting to his feet and handing me the stack of Spanish work he'd swept together. "What's it mean?" "The sound of your voice makes me want to strangle myself. "Kinky.”
